Iceberg: The American Heritage
Science Dictionary: “A massive body of floating ice that
has broken away from a glacier or ice field. Most of an iceberg
lies underwater, but because ice is not as dense as water, about
one ninth of it remains above the surface.”
I worry that future generations will only be able to view icebergs
in a dictionary or other media forms. Education and responsibility
are the keys to change, in order to avoid a catastrophic meltdown.
